The reference photo for this painting has lived rent free in my head since I took it on July 1st. It’s not even of the glacier that we hiked to see! There’s just something about this vista that looks so pretty and tranquil to me with the clear sky, snow-covered peaks and perfectly green landscape. I love it! Oh, and in case you’re wondering - this is the Parker Ridge hike on Icefields Parkway.
