This was the first and only hike I’ve ever done by myself. I hiked up to Yates Mountain, but at the base is Barrier Lake, which was this stunning blue colour when the water hit it. It’s technically a man made damn, but it’s super pretty and is a really popular spot for picnics in the summer. It was a bit touch and go painting the sky, but I love how moody it came out.
