We decided to do a day trip on one of our last days in Japan and Ine was part of that trip. It’s a small fishing village and I took the reference photo when we went out on a boat feeding hawks. It was absolutely wild how close they got! Despite it being a bit of a chaotic boat ride, I got the inspo shot for this painting of the calm waters with a small island.
